HIKING RINJANI LOMBOK 2D1N - South Summit

Hiking Rinjani Lombok via Timbanuh: 2 Days, 1 Night The journey to the southern peak reaches a height of 3500 meters above sea level, providing an exhilarating authentic jungle experience, brimming with diverse flora and fauna. As you ascend to the camp site, the pristine jungle transitions into a stunning, expansive savanna. This trekking route offers stunning views of Mount Rinjani, allowing you to explore the picturesque Tetebatu village before your trekking date. You will spend one night pre-trek in Tetebatu, after which you will drive to Timbanuh village to begin your trek. Our hiking package price includes everything you need in Rinjani, including one night of pre-trek accommodation, a private car, all camp equipment, all meals during the trip, a porter and guide, and the National Park Entrance fee.

On your arrival date in Lombok, our team will pick you up and transport you to the hotel. The following day, we will commence the trek from Timbanuh village, which will take approximately 9 hours. The trek will take you through authentic jungle and a wide, beautiful savanna, culminating in a camp site. You might see the incredible crater lake, the baby volcano, and the stunning sunrise from the summit, which is 3500 m above sea level. On the second day, our guide will take you on the summit trek, then back to the camp site, and then continue the trip back to Timbanuh village.

This itinerary applies to customers who spend one night before trekking at the Rinjani Trekking Center in Sembalun Village, Senaru Village, or Tetebatu Village. Day 0: Arrival – Timbanuh Village (800 m)
Our driver will pick you up from your arrival location on Lombok, whether at the airport or the port. You will then be transferred to Tetebatu, the “Mount Rinjani Climbing Center,” for hotel check-in. On the following day, our guide will visit your hotel to provide a briefing about the climb.

Day 1: Timbanuh – Campsite (2,781 m & 2,959 m)
After breakfast at 7:00 a.m., our team will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a health check-up, which is required for registration. You will then proceed to the Mount Rinjani National Park office to complete registration. Afterward, you will be transferred to either the park boundary or the Mount Rinjani climbing gate. The ascent begins from the South Pelawangan entrance, located at 2,439 m above sea level, and continues to the campsite. The trek takes approximately eight hours, including rest and meal breaks.

Day 2: Campsite – Summit (3,171 m or 3,573 m) – Timbanuh (800 m)
At 3:00 a.m., our team will wake you to prepare for the climb to the southern peak of Mount Rinjani, at 3,500 m above sea level, accompanied by our guide. A light breakfast will be served by our porters before the ascent. After reaching the summit, you will return to the campsite, where a second breakfast will be provided. Following rest and preparation, you will continue the descent back to Timbanuh Village, a journey of approximately seven hours. Finally, our driver will transfer you to your next destination on Lombok Island. Trip Finished
